This week has been chaotic. Actually, the last 5.5 weeks have been crazy, but this week has almost sunk me. 5.5 weeks ago, we had a sibling pair placed. oldest is 5, knee baby is 17 months. things were going relatively well, and we were getting a good routine going. Wednesday, I got a call that DHR has taken emergency custody of infant sibling at 5 hours old, the hospital had discharged at 24 hours old and Baby would be at my house at 6:30, making sib 29 hours old. I thought my anxiety would be off the chain crazy, but I have actually reduced the intake of my rescue meds. i am o day 4 of not needing it, instead of taking it twice daily!
