Does anyone else have a habit of tenseing your whole body during tic attacks? I do, and it makes the entire process so muh more exausting, especially because my attacks last usually around 30 minutes. Does anyone have a way to try and help loosen up, even just a little bit?

I close my eyes and take many deep breathes. I still tic, just not as severely. Calming myself down is all I know how to do

Advice I was given was thinking about something that makes you happy and calm. For instance, I think about my partner playing with my hair and telling me it's okay

@Gateway Thank you so much, I will try and see if it helps
