I've been on 75mg of levothyroxine for 10 days now was on 50mg before (3 years ish) the fatigue is so bad every morning I wake up exhausted whether I have had 7hrs or even 9/10hrs sleep but also been suffering with insomnia too. how long does it take for a new dose to adjust levels? can't keep feeling like this :(

      I hope you mean .75 micrograms - that would make a huge difference !!

      I’m on 225mg and I still feel awful, and have terrible symptoms. Been on Levothyroxin for 20 years. I never seem to feel any better though.

      Hi how long have you been taking thyroxine for? When my dose is wrong and its changed I normally start to feel better within 2 weeks

        @mummaof4 I've been on it for around 8/9 years, I hope I start to feel better soon it's driving me insane, its just next level tiredness x

          @cbees I know exactly what you mean and unless you're going through it then you can't understand , I think people think I'm being a drama queen but it's just sheer exhaustion x
