Does anyone else notice a dramatic increase in suicidal ideation when you forget your meds for 1 day? How do you help quiet those desires?

I take lamictal and have definitely forgotten to take it a few times.. but for me I don’t notice any specific spike in symptoms after 1 missed dose.. However I do still experience intense suicidal ideation symptoms and the only advice I can give is what I do: repeatedly remind myself it is a just a symptom, that it’s not the real me, and that i know it will pass.. then I try to divert all my attention to distractions to wait it out… Hopefully for you, you’ll only have to wait till your next dose 🙏🏽
