I've been dizzy for 24 hours now. when I walk it looks like I just got done spinning around for 20 min. I have had bppv before but this feels different. I had what. calling a MCAS flare yesterday. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what they did about it?

I have had many episodes of that. On three occasions, I was hospitalized for it. Neurologists did l.p. each time and diagnosed aseptic meningitis. First me, when my mast cells really flare I get meningitis. My vision gets blurry with it, major headaches, dizzy. Usually lasts 3 to 4 weeks until I get mast cells under control.

sorry I missed this. Im not sure what it was. I had constant dizziness for 3 days and lasted a week on and off severely. I have pots but my doctor felt like I had a reaction that made the pots work. It could be an inner ear issue too. Idk

Hi! Do you happen to have POTs? When I stand up or start walking my heart rate shoots up and sometimes I even faint. Usually, it's just pre-syncope though. Also, if I can ask how you got diagnosed with MCAS?

@Ghost125 I don't think it's the pots. That normally is momentary for me, this is constant. :/

@KyloRen exactly how mine was, constant. Might be good to get checked out. Inner ear issues can also cause

So I had this right before Thanksgiving and actually asked the same thing. After day three I felt crazy. Even spinning in my sleep. I contacted my doctor and she suspected an MCAS reaction. She put me on more meds to help get under control. After a day wasnt constant, after a few days was gone. We found later that our wood stove was leaking and im extremely sensitive to smoke.
