So, how does everyone feel that people are now saying Tylenol and medication like Tylenol (Ibuprofen, Advil, and Naproxen, etc) can cause Autism? When I saw the ads, articles, and commercials I just started laughing. Apparently if a pregnant woman took any of those medications, it would give the child Autism and now parents can get compensation if they have an Autistic child because they took Tylenol while pregnant. What's next? The sun causes Autism? šŸ¤£

Thst autistic people have different pain tolerances and maybe the autistic parent with a lower pain tolerance genetically passed on their autism to their kiddos. Broad overgeneralization and only one working theory. Correlation isn't causation and the theory won't stand the test of time. They are asking the wrong question. Its not "what causes autism?" Its "what do we do to support autistic people?" Ugh. So frustrating.

@SunInAugust it is frustrating, the commercials are basically the same as those "round up compensation" ones you see on TV, exactly the same except it's that pain meds cause Autism. It's super dumb.

At this point people are grasping at straws to get rid of us. Literally everything is out here causing a genetic condition now.

@Erinnewbold Yeah, like Tylenol? I don't even understand why they would even choose that. It barely has any side effects to begin with if taken correctly.
