I have been having anxiety problems that get really bad since I had Covid. I never had the problem until then I was good on the medication for years. I am now getting depressed with it and can not find happiness. Has anyone else have this problem after Covid. Could there be something medically wrong that cause this feeling.

@carebear73 could be. I wasnt depressed before Covid... anxiety yes. But this is a new depression. Before my vaccination. And my anxiety is definitely amped since Covid and have more triggers. Things like a kid coughing at work now can start an anxiety attack.

I wonder if that's why my anxiety and depression are worse. Had covid in 2020. Now everything is worse..physically and mentally.

@carebear73 I got covid too. And since that everything went down the hill. My friend had to go to the doctor because since Covid she couldn't sleep well.

Hi there. My doctor referred me to a great therapist. My doctor basically said after what I went through who wouldn't be depressed. So if you find a good therapist and if needed the right meds it is easier to manage. A lot of folks even medical don't fully understand the impact of covid on mental health yet especially if your a long hauler. I think in part most people get depression then aren't themselves. It is kinda like we aren't ourselves then get depressed. So while adjusting our brain chemistry we also either work on being our old selves or finding a new version that allows us to function and be happy.

Hi there I feel like that. I try to speak to my doctor, they send me to a social worker. She just told me that I didn't look depressed. Now I ask how does a person with depression should look like. I try to explain how I feel since the Covid pandemic.
