The more and more I look online, the more I realize I might have PCOS and it's sincerely scary. Even now, I'm currently feeling pain even though i've already had my period. I haven't gone to the gyno yet, and I still don't want to. The most I'd be okay with doing is getting an ultrasound and the blood tests but that's it. Should I communicate that to my mom or no?

PCOS sucks the best thing to do would to go see a doctor. It is scary and it’s draining but having the diagnosis will allow you to relax knowing what’s going on .

Totally talk to your mom and your doctor about your fear and anxiety. It’s your body and when something is not quite right, it’s scary, but this is something that is completely manageable and something that so many people live perfectly “normal” lives with

The best thing you can do for your body is visit a doctor. Even though it’s scary, it’s best to get ahead of any major symptoms before they may worsen. As someone who has PCOS, it really sucks to have, but the best part of my journey has been having the certainty of being diagnosed. It’s allowed me to take ownership of how I personally choose to manage my symptoms. You may be experiencing symptoms related to something different, or your intuition may be right. Again, the best next step is to tell a parent and then visit your doctor. It may feel scary but opening up about your concerns is so worth it 💕
