My left foot always feels like it’s being periodically electrocuted. It’s like searing hot pain, make a burn

  @Heidi_M that’s like me. My doctor doesn’t give it much attention. I have found that tonic water (with quinine) helps. The first times I experienced this pain were the last times that I had any alcoholic beverages, before my diagnosis. Now that I don’t drink at all, It has happened a few times, and I am wondering if it’s when I have A LOT of sugar. Can you pinpoint triggers for this pain?
