For me, there are a lot of times where I forget what I’m saying as I’m saying it or I just can’t get the words out even though I know what I want to say
Is the brain fog and memory loss really part of AS? I always thought it was part of my depression or something. But ever since I got diagnosed with AS it’s been bad brain fog… makes so much sense
I’ve experienced getting lost not far from my own home. I’ve noticed I have no sense of direction anymore. Easily distracted. Loose track of items and what I’m doing. I completely forget something the minute I walk away. I’ve been Frustrated because I can’t remember something that should be so easy to recall. I’ve noticed lately I’ve forgot how to talk, sometimes my words are coming out different. Sometimes in different accents too. Thank heavens I have family who laugh with me, not at me. And understand what I’m going through.
