You think it’s okay to go vegan? I heard meat fish dairy is really bad for your health… what do you guys think?

There are many ways to eat healthy. I find it helps me to read more about nutrition and to keep a food diary to see what foods make me feel better and what makes me feel worse.

Dairy is not great for your health, generally. It can cause skin problems including acne, and gastrointestinal issues. Meat and fish, it depends on what type you're eating. Leaner meats can be beneficial, and it's recommended that you avoid certain fish like swai (it's actually banned in some states). I always encourage people to go vegan if they can, or at least to try it out. Try eating vegan for a day, or even one meal and see how you feel. If you live in or near a major city, try finding a vegan restaurant to try out. I'm fortunate to live near a city that has some pretty delicious vegan food and a vegan food festival every year. Also, try vegan treats! Vegan ice cream is really good. And if you bake, try making a vegan dessert recipe. You can also look into fast food that's animal free (I won't say it's completely vegan because they generally use shared fryers) if you want to eat out.
