Did anyone feel depressed following laparoscopy for endometriosis? I’ve never been like this and am wondering if it did something to my hormones.

I think you are right about the anesthesia! I woke up so angry after the surgery and I felt like it was a bad reaction to anesthesia but couldn’t find any info about it online. Thank you so much it puts my mind at ease that I’m not the only one.

I got super depressive after my most recent lap, I could barely eat for 2 months after. I'm not sure if it was psychological, or hormonal, but I wouldn't be surprised either way. Surgery is traumatic for the body, the body responds. I hope you're okay!
I felt the same way after both my surgeries, it could definitely be hormones but it could also be a side effect of the anaesthesia! When I woke up the first time I could not stop crying and I was depressed (more so than usual) for days until it completely left my system.
