Is low sodium serious if it’s below normal low but not severely low??? Because I saw a primary care doctor who is not my regular doctor and they ran blood work that ( I had to ask for) because I came in with just in general not feeling myself. They did physical exam and said I was fine no x rays or anything. I got a call in a few days from this doctors nurse saying my sodium is a (little low) and to have it rechecked at my next appointment. Then I called back the next day because I wondered if using electrolyte powder in my water would help and got a general nurse. She said the doctor is not concerned at all about you sodium level. Watch was a completely different answer then what the actual doctors nurse said. I find it odd 1. That they are not treating the low sodium even if it’s just (a little low) 2. being that I have been struggling with Random seizures that they can’t find cause to. And 3. I have chronic diarrhea from my GI problems. Have not gotten any copy in the mail for this blood work yet. They said they would mail it. Nothing. Low Sodium is dangerous and I am concerned. Plus not feeling myself still. Any suggestions?
