Recently all I've been doing is over thinking everything and I can never give myself a straight answer. and everyone around me is saying I've very reacting. A recent experience I had was my best friend gave my boyfriend hickies for a dare and didn't tell me. I told my other friends she was cheating/hooking up with him, but everyone is saying it was just a dare and it didn't mean anything. Am I overreacting? I am currently broken up with my boyfriend and I'm on a break with my friend.

@karlielewis93 ah I think that maybe be confusing, being poly but not allowing sexual freedom. But because you have set boundaries he should respect that and if what he did crosses that line it's nor cool. BUT if it's a double standard like he can't be sexualy free but you can that's not right (I'm not assuming it's that eay) either way if you both talk it out you should be fine, if you guys can't compromise for one another I'd break up

idk if you didn’t give him permission to receive hickeys from another girl, i would permit that as cheating. he was in the wrong because he allowed it & you have every right to feel the way that you do.

If it makes you uncomfortable and you've set boundaries then no, your in a monogamous relationship and he let a girl give him hickeys, you both agreed in the beginning (I assume) to only be sensual/romantic with one another and him not respecting that isn't okay, talk with him if he continues to dis your emotions and you friends keep acting up maybe you should find better people to surround yourself with
