Does anyone prefer to be asleep?? I'm having a hard time telling a difference between my dreams and real life lately because I just much prefer dreaming. i have the occasional nightmare but otherwise in my dreams i feel more in control than my real life. I'm not in pain, sometimes I go on quests or have super powers but honestly even when it seems pretty mundane its just nice to feel like I can function freely, there isn't a limit on my physical body or mental load, I can socialize freely and i feel safe. i plan to discuss this with my therapist this week but i just really want to know I'm not alone I guess?? I'm not sure. I'm open to any input lol

I never much liked sleep I have no control over my dreams, mostly there are just nightmares
I don't dream but this is exactly why I write tbh. It's a way to live another life and I think it's just another version of escapism. If I did Dream I think I'd probably love dreaming a lot more than reality
