Struggling with IBS after Endometriosis Surgery

I have both endometriosis and IBS. I had endometriosis excision surgery last November and have been really struggling with my IBS since. Has anyone had a similar experience or have tips?

      I don’t have IBS but I do have a ton of GI symptoms along with my endo, and a month after my endo was excised I was diagnosed with SIBO. If you haven’t looked into it, you should! Sometimes SIBO can be mistaken as IBS. It’s also helped me to stay away from beans, cruciferous vegetables, soy, and oats, in addition to the endo diet. Also a fiber supplement is helpful!

      I have celiac and endo! Try to avoid inflammatory foods (dairy, red meat, certain grains). Drinking warm water or light teas definitely helps ease pain. Eat organic fruits and vegetables (pesticides are inflammatory as heck). Salad with shredded chicken is amazing! Also smoothies!

      While I don’t have IBS I do have endometriosis. I’ve found that heating pads help me a lot as well as making sure I’m getting up and moving a tiny bit everyday. Maybe that could help you as well? Sorry I can’t be of more help!
