I am trying to follow a diabetic diet for Type 2 diabetes. I understand how to count carbs, but I don't know how much to eat. For instance, do I eat 20 grams of carbs at breakfast or 40 or 60? How much protein am I supposed to eat? I keep trying to see a nutritionist but my doctor keeps dropping the ball and I can't get a referral. Any advice would be appreciated.
