Covid was a difficult time for everyone, but in my opinion, especially for people suffering from anxiety and depression. The fear of the unknown, the social distance, and the constant fear only aggravated the existing mental state. As for me, I felt like I was diving into low places. Luckily, I was surrounded by a supportive family who helped and supported me along the way. I really recommend going back to regular psychological treatment that will help with this complex coping.

I feel you soooo much! I think Covid was the worst thing that could happen to people with depression. I was diagnosed only a short time before the pandemic started and all of the uncertainty and the lockdown just made me feel so much worse. Sorry to hear about your psych, maybe you can ask her for recommendations for someone new that she trusts?

Covid has hurt everyone, but I think it hurts those of us with anxiety/depression the most. There are days where I feel like the world is gonna end, and days where I wish it would just hurry up and do it. There aren't any support groups, or they're all online, and how is that different from watching TV really, you know? It sucks. But you're not alone, no matter how alone you feel.
