Does anyone experience symptoms in between manic and depressive episodes? I feel like even when i’m not in an episode I constantly lash out at people, have meltdowns over tiny things, have high anxiety and panic, i don’t know I just never feel “normal” or “baseline” like there are times when i’m not severely depressed or manic but i’m still not right.

@Deathfuffy I was prescribed hydroxyzine for a short period as well but only 10mg,, it didn’t do too much for me but make me a bit tired. I’m trying now Prozac along with my mood stabilizer to see how that helps.

I lash out in anger in between my up and downs. I take hydroxyzine for the anger. I was told it was popular to have a short temper or rage around episodes. I also have 24/7 anxiety unless I am manic. I take propranolol for anxiety. It’s helps a little. Hope you find something that helps

My daughter takes meds for ADHD and BPD and has for years. I think you may want a second opinion.

      Yeah, sounds like BPD.

Have you been screened for a comorbid condition such as ADHD or BPD?

@Juniper111121 not really,, I mean I was screened for ADHD a while back but I don’t know what came from it and either way my psych said i couldn’t be put on meds for ADHD bc of my bipolar

@st0nedprinc3ss I have BPD, bipolar, and ADHD and they gave me medication for all of them, you may need a new psychiatrist

@st0nedprinc3ss you can be on meds for BPD, though. I am.
