I’m in a period of high anxiety, because I missed a dose of Humira and my insurance is making it difficult for me to get it. It’s only been a few days, but I really don’t want this to set back my progress 😔 has anyone missed a dose? How did you handle it?

If you have the humira copay assistance they also may be able to reimburse you for whatever you pay for the prescription, you can call the number on their website and talk to an insurance specialist they are very helpful, i missed a dose by a couple of days due to covid and it didnt seem to set back my progress
If you have been on this medication for a long period of time call your pharmacist at the pharmacy and ask for an emergency supply of medication while you get this worked out. You can always use good RX (cash price) they have really great prices and you might be able to be reimbursed from insurance from having to pay. You can get on Good RX on the internet and look up your prescription and look where it is the cheapest too your pharmacy can always send your prescription to them.
