Try taking IBGard when you have flare-ups and before you have flare-ups. I take it before I eat meals and the peppermint oil helps relax your stomach muscles. Also, it will help you with your diarrhea. I take it almost every day and I have had diarrhea 2-3 times per day after taking it. You'll know when it's working when you burp up the peppermint. I've been using it for years and I have had fewer flare-ups since taking it. Before, I had missed so many school days because of my IBS that I had to repeat my senior year of high school. Also, get a Squatty Potty too. You'll spend less time in the bathroom since it helps relax your colon muscles and get rid of waste faster.

Hiya I tried the low fodmap diet a few year ago and it also worsened my stomach pains, so here is my advice hope it helps ❤️ I found that I need gluten, beans, and veggies in my diet, but onions and garlic made me extremely unwell. I think that everyone’s bodies respond differently to different inflammatory foods, and it depends what you are using the diet for. My priority was reducing stomach pain and reflux, which I found garlic and onions to be a primary trigger of. However, for those with the priority of reducing gas pain or diarrhoea, cutting out beans or some veggies more be effective. Overall, I would say don’t stress about sticking to it too closely, have a play around with including/ excluding different foods and see what works specifically for you

I'm so sorry to hear this. I have not done a low FODMAP diet yet, but when I purchased some pre ready means from a company that makes FODMAP frozen meals, I triggered to one of the dishes and found that I cannot have aubergines which I didn't know before. Maybe you are triggering to an ingredient that was used in your latest meal?
