I was actually up and walking around later the same day! My pain was totally gone for two years, before another disc went bad on me.

I had one a little over a year ago. It wasn't the worst thing ever but definitely do as your told!

    @Weiss it was, I will say the first few days to about week are rough. But after that it gets sooo much better
