Looking for Advice on Lupus-Related Skin Issues

I have had a rash on both of my arms for like 4 months now and in the sun they get SOOO itchy!!! I also have a horrible itchy scalp that get sores and red bumps on them and it even gets super scabby even if I go like a week without scratching. So weird.

omg me too!! i struggle with flaky patches and lots of itchy dry skin, i also get the bumps on my scalp and on my arms. it’s frustrating to deal with since i struggle a ton with skin picking as a result of ocd, for years though i’ve found “slugging” like another comment mentioned helps, and to combat picking i use bandaids and acne patches to discourage myself and keep infections to a minimum.

I've started "slugging" at night, putting on a cervae ointment on at night to keep moisturized and its been really working for me.

Hey! For me, the itching is so frustrating too. I get random intense itching feeling usually on my things and calf’s as well as near my arm pits at my side, then when I do itch my skin usually breaks out in hives. I also have those flakey mole things around my breast bone and I have two on my right arm. One of the more recent things I’ve noticed in the last couple years is the skin on my legs is always a blotchy reddish white flakey pattern. I’ve also notice that my acne now instead of being like normal pimples turns into like deep sores that now scar anytime I try to slightly pop them
