i-i just can't. I can't do anything. I just want to let all of my emotions out,but I'm such a people pleaser that I forgot how to. I don't even remember how to smile. I can't go see a doctor because I can't afford it. the only thing I can do is eat, sleep, watch TV, rinse, repeat. I don't want to do anything, but at the same time I can't, but I want to. I need help...

      tv and social media are coping mechanisms that suppress your emotions. notice what your body feels like- chest tightness, butterflies in stomach, etc. and find what emotion that relates to. what emotion are you trying to avoid: loneliness, shame, fear? are you avoiding something from the past? did you have a failure/rejection that makes you feel like there's no point because nothing will succeed? once you know the trap you can anticipate and avoid it. don't blame yourself for falling into this problem repeatedly- instead ask "what can i do differently today?" and say "i messed up and i forgive myself because i'm not perfect. its ok to be scared, it's been hard in the past. i'm going to feel like this isn't enough and i'm going to do it anyways." hope this helps
