Would you consider banging your head a form of self harm? Is this something i should get help for or am i just an adult now? Like is this something everyone does for stress release or should i be worried about falling back into old habits

I would consider that self-harm, based on that it is in action that is in direct reaction to negative thoughts. It’s actually one of the three most common forms of self-injury in mental health patients. I would not consider this as “normal” for most adults to do, and I’d definitely look into ways that could help you cope with stress in more helpful ways ❤️

Yes, It is considered self harm. I actually punch myself in the head as well as punch myself in the thighs. You need to put a stop to it before you actually end up hurting yourself very badly.
