so we're a DID system that also has trouble with everyday trauma triggers such as taking off clothes to take a shower or use the bathroom. We've been ignoring it but it came back to remind us and it's a csa trigger how do we cope?

@LabyrinthGarden uhmmm...sometimes brains can function better when they have something like that to hold onto. Its just a theory. I figure there isnt much to loose in giving it a shot!

If its really bad, cant you shower in clothes? I’ve heard things like this type of advice from therapists that disassemble norms and what is expected of people, and they give advice that kind of works into the issue and around it. You can try taking a shower in an article of clothing and see if that trigger still comes out. I’m kinda interested to see if it would work, so lmk if you guys try it!

Is there something you can ground to like listening to an album on repeat?
