I just spent the last half hour being laugjed at by a group of strangers while I was shopping. Does anyone have a way that makes leaving a little bit less scary, because it took a lot of building up for me to not be afraid to go out in public because of my tics, and I really don't want to slip into that fear again and I'm afraid there's no real way to help or get around it
That is so relatable. For me, what helps is going out with other people, particularly friends. It doesn’t stop the stares and dumb comments, but it makes them really not bother me so much. All the love ❤️
