Please be easy on yourself. I’m going through a very similar thing. Sounds like you have the flu. That’s not your fault. I’m a live in caregiver and my boss gave me the flu. She bounced back within a day and I’ve been terribly sick for a few days now, but haven’t really had time off until yesterday, and that was hard to get. I broke down big time yesterday with a full blown panic attack in front of people. It was awful. The only thing you can do is take care of yourself until you’re better, but please be easy on yourself because your boyfriend shouldn’t have said that. I hope you feel better soon. I’m sorry.

Yes having a doctor’s note is good! Bronchitis sucks. Luck I have not had it in years, but lung related symptoms or illnesses make life so much more difficult. But yes better to call in than to expose others to this. Be gentle on yourself. You didn’t ask to become sick 😷. And they are supplying fire anyone when it’s health related if I remember right. That’s unfair practice. But they could claim it was a different reason to fired you. But don’t think the worse. Try to stay positive.
