PLEASE HELP IM ONLY 20 AND FEEL LIKE I'M RUNNING OUT OF TIME I was tested for lymes a month ago, I've dealt with so much in the past year. HAVING THE BITE MARKS CLEAR AS DAY!!! AND THEN BEING TOLD ALL MY TESTS ARE NORMAL!!!! losing all my weight and not being able to walk properly, the constant neck and back pain and general muscular pain... my overall mental performance has been insanely low I feel so stupid now. I am constantly tired and unable to regain any stamina. reading and writing have both become difficult tasks. cooking and cleaning is almost impossible and takes me hours to do so. I used to lift weights and do track and field. now I can't even pick up my bag if it's full. I can feel how this disease has reshaped my body. I've been in constant intense pain and I know I need to keep pushing. is there anyway to get a lymes diagnosis without blood tests???? pls help I'm only 20 and I feel like I'm losing hope. my adult life is being ripped from me.

When I was in my twenties I got Lymes from climbing 🧗‍♀️ a mountain 🏔 in Arizona it was loaded with ticks and I didn’t know it. Eight months later I felt like I was going to die . I had 2 jobs and raising a 3 year old on my own. I couldn’t get out of bed 🛌 I had to crawl getting ready in the morning and couldn’t care for my son . It was awful. I worked in a Doctors office and he tested me for everything he could think of and no cigars. Until the office manager suggested I was tested for Lyme because of the mountain 🏔 she had gone with me and felt all the symptoms were there. My test came back positive we were in shock, however, the good thing about it the Doctor knew how to treat it so it began . Once a month I got an antibiotic shot of Rocephin for three months along with oral antibiotics and a series of B12 shots as well. There after I felt like myself again and the Lymes went dormant for years . Until now at age 55 out of the blue it came back with a vengeance because this time I went a couple years without being diagnosed it was by my own persistence that I got tested and sure enough there it was again . The Doctor was shocked because she didn’t think it could come back quite frankly neither did I. So it’s been five years now and I’m still battling Lymes disease 🦠 that has taken over my life. By the Grace oF God I found a neurologist who knows how to treat Lymes disease and he has given me all the right medication needed to start healing. However, all the Neurological damage that Lymes caused is irreversible and the pain is unbearable at times as well. So it is super important to find a Doctor that knows how to treat Lymes because still 35 years later Doctors do not know how to go about starting a treatment plan for Lymes. Don’t give up keep looking for a good doctor neurologist or infectious disease doctor. Blessings always and best of luck 🤞 🙏 there is hope. Kenzie 🙂

I understand this so deeply! Growing up my pediatrician didn't really believe what I was suffering through, which was confusing for me as a kid because I knew what I was experiencing! I agree with the other comments, finding a specialist helped my family a lot and now I'm in remission. Don't lose hope! I can't say it will get better quick, but it will get better, and you won't lose adult life! Please reach out anytime you need encouragement or advice, I know this feeling very well❤️

I had a similar experience, most doctors will only officially diagnose with 5 or more antibody hits on the lymes test, because lymes is so underreasearched. I have hit 2 red and 13 yellow, which obviously means there is SOMETHING there, but medically unrecognized by normal docs. I'd recommend getting a lyme specialist because they genuinely believe you and have the tests that can back you up!! They look at it less strictly and understand the fluidity. They will also look for similar infections like for me I also had bartonella!!

The basic tests are almost always wrong. Get a test from igenex!

You can have Lyme and have nothing on the tests. There are also co-infections like bartonella and babesia

Yes. But you need to find a Lyme specialist. The tests don’t test for Lyme disease specifically. They test for certain antibodies your body produces if you have and are only most accurate if you’ve just been bitten. Even then I think their accuracy is less than 66%. I Lyme specialist will look more at your symptoms than a normal doctor. Also there are doctors that don’t believe in chronic Lyme disease. They say it’s just all in your head. I don’t remember the websites but I know there are at least two out there that can direct you to a doctor. It’s been a decade and half since I had that problem. Go to your computer and try typing chronic Lyme disease. I think that will bring up the websites that will help you more. If you’re still stuck let me know but what your describing is how I was before I got treatment. Actually I was a little worse
