Having invisible disabilities sucks. I'm still young, so when I tell people that I can't walk somewhere because that'll cause a flare up they look at me like I'm just exaggerating or being dramatic. It's infuriating. I want to be able to do things, but I can't because it's painful. I'm literally working myself to my limit everyday just to keep up with other people.

I understand, its so hard, I've lost friends because I can't do what they can due to chronic pain, I always compare myself to them, Wish people were more understanding

I know what you mean. I think the most frustrating thing for me about chronic pain is that it's not even visible for me all the time. So on days when I don't feel so bad, I start to get disappointed in myself. I compare myself to my peers, who haven't had pain like me, and feel way behind

I know it's frustrating. I was just having this conversation with my partner last night. The most important thing to remember is that you don't need outside validation for what is happening inside your body to be valid. No matter what doctors, family, friends, coworkers, and strangers have dismissed your struggles or attempted to gaslight you into thinking you actually "aren't doing that bad" only you know your body and how you are doing.

Hey friend. I know that this is hard but just remember that people are stupid and don’t know what you are going thru. Sadly that the only thing that works for me
