I would love more information on acupuncture. I tried weening off my SSRI and resorting to natural solutions, but the anxiety and depression creeps back up and gets so bad I have difficulty at work and functioning—I must really need it. I just wonder if there is something else that could help me 😥. I’ve dealt with this since I was literally 4 years old….and for no reason.

This is only a short term solution, but I got acupuncture at the height of my anxiety issues, and it was incredible. It forces you to just sit there and relax. Which usually is my nightmare but idk, it was great. I have state insurance and they covered it so i imagine any and all insurances do according to your conditions and anxiety is a big one for it.

My anxiety is related to having adhd so adderall actually alleviates my anxiety a lot. Also therapy taught me how to cope without meds as well but I still take my meds because my ADHD is pretty severe My depression is a working progress and I’ve tried 50 mg of sertraline and it was terrible, made my depression, adhd, cognition and sleep problems worse and plus I had psychotic symptoms. Setraline works for some it just wasn’t for me.

I’m on sertraline 200mg and it’s helping an ungodly amount. I know it’s hard but I’ve learned to just not care and that’s been the best medicine to me

For anxiety, it’s much better since I’m on Prozac. Meditation also helps and for that really strong anxiety once in a while, I’ll take Xanax. But for the most part, it doesn’t manifest physically, and is very manageable. Until it isn’t lol
