Hi, has anyone had surgery to correct an anal FISTULA? I had my surgery done in 2016 and having concerns about the fistula returning. I had a c-section in 2020 to avoid disrupting any scar tissue in that area from the fistula surgery. Lately I've been having symptoms like sharp pain & muscle spasms where the fistula was. Has anyone had a recurring fistula and if so what were your symptoms like- was there anything you were able to do to slow down the fistula tract process besides the normal precautions? I am open to any ideas, advice, or help- my before, during, after, and recovery from a fistula was a worse experience than having a c-section. Thanks for your time!
