Hello! I’m looking into trying the Keto diet to help with my seizures but it seems like such a difficult diet to follow. If you have tried it, what was the benefit and how long did it take to see improvement in seizure activity?

Keto has shown to help with seizures and feel physically better, but it also mentally drains you. I know so many people who have felt depressed or just so sad from keto because your body misses out on other things and it's just kinda sad. So pros and cons

we got some more time between seizures (60 days to around 90-100) but I did struggle with getting in enough calories and it made me faint a few times. I do struggle with eating in general though and am quite picky, so if you’re not I think you’ll be okay. some of the recipes are super good too! I still eat them to this day!

I have tried it to not much improvement to be honest and there are some risks involved https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/should-you-try-the-keto-diet That's a good link that kinda outlines it
