I feel like I am being sucked into the earth. I keep going on runs but with every step I fall deeper and deeper into the earth. Every time I lay or sit I feel like I am being sucked down into the earth.

Thanks but I have tried what feels like everything swimming helps but i feel like i am still being pulled down and meds make me really freaking sick.

Go swimming or get in the bath. Let the water consume you and feel the weightlessness of your body. Your anxieties no longer weigh on you. You're consumed and you're still safe.

I've heard that mindfulness exercises are really helpful when you're feeling pulled from reality. I like washing my face with cold water, or eating something VERY slowly so you can smell it and feel your teeth slowly biting down on it

When I get like that I have found that usually I'm also having increased anxiety, but the depression makes it harder to notice the anxiety. If I address the anxiety, meds or something, I feel a little better, and I can self care easier to improve my depression

Definitely, sometimes I compare it to drowning just slowly getting farther and farther from the surface. It takes SO much energy to move sometimes. Sometimes nothing helps, but sometimes the little things help. Tea, music, a nice warm bath. Sometimes I try to just sleep it all away.
It's valid for you to feel that way. It's hard to deal with chronic illnesses, and it hurts to feel alone. I'm here for you. Find something that will help get you back on the surface.
