I’ve been in therapy for a while but am still at about the same level of anxiety. The only change is that I have new skills. Has anyone else felt the same?

Sadly that's kinda what life is. Learning these therapy skills and using them until you can trust them and they take the anxiety away instead of compulsions. But like someone else said, if they're unbearable compulsions that bother you so bad you can't stop, then using a med with counseling is definitely helpful. It won't be magic at first, it takes at least a month, but you will feel better.

What treatment do you take? Do you mix CBT and medication? This combination helps me more than any of them alone.
