I’ve had a few people notice especially when I was a cashier, it’s been hard because I moved to Florida and dressing for warm weather is hard.I have the skin tumors on my chest. The people that noticed it most is kids, but to be honest they are really sweet about it and then we become best friends and it gives me a little confidence about knowing the next generation doesn’t judge as bad as I thought.

I’m lucky enough that you can’t really tell from the outside, most of my tumors live under my clothes, but socially I feel like it’s made me anxious and awkward, and I struggle with wanting to date or be intimate because of having to explain all the bumps on my back and stomach, so I avoid dating apps or putting myself out there

For me I never realized that so many people didn’t realize or notice it. Growing up I figured everyone knew and since I went to a smaller school I figured at least my grade knew. When I got to college it dawned on me that most people would never know unless I told them and it was both a good and bad thing. People never treated me differently, but then when there were things in life that were affected by my NF, it would’ve been nice if they knew so they could understand. Not sure if that helps, but for me unless someone asks about some of my physical signs, I don’t feel the need to tell them.

Your lucky about that. I am extremely self conscious about it. I have some on my face and the rest are all over my body.

      Most people don't mention anything

I am more asking about how other people react

I'm okay with it... Depends on what you what you mean I suppose. Most people don't notice anything. Even though I have some pretty major scarring from surgery. And some tumors in my right eyelid area..
