I was diagnosed with tachycardia back in 2021 and I don't really know many people who have it. I know it's similar to POTS but not really the same. For me my heart rate is almost always high I'll be sitting down in a cafeteria or whatever and my heart rate will be at 160 I don't know what to do.

I had inappropriate sinus tachycardia 30 years ago. 171bpm just driving a boring stretch of road. Calan helped. 4 years ago started POTS. that may be fading. Metoprolol helped atvleast lower the resting heart rate by 20bpm and reduced the frequency of high heart rate (201bpm top record)

I’ve struggled with chronic tachycardia for nearly 10 years now. It started at age 11 for me & I am close to 21 now. I always find it hard to explain my condition to others since no one I know personally struggles with it besides my grandmother. My heart rate is always pretty high sitting down as well. I always find that it spikes for some reason when I lay down in bed too. It can be scary & often I have anxiety associated with feeling “off” bc of the tachycardia. I’m sure you can relate to the feeling. I had a cardiac ablation 10 years ago to try & fix it. I think it helped for a while but 6 years in I noticed a lot of my problems & symptoms came back. I’m struggling to decide whether I should be reevaluated for another procedure or try medication out. Good luck 💕

I have tachycardia too. It's never really affected me until last year. However, I've been put on propranolol and it has helped tons
