Sensory Overload: Does Anyone Else Feel Like They're About to 'Explode'?

I wouldn’t say “explode”, but I do tense up and feel a sense of anxiety and terror when I hear loud noises

My anxiety tends to fluctuate from day to day, but certain times when I hear an unexpected loud noise, l shut down for a moment and feel my heart racing.

A few times when my anxiety was bad. Closes in on you.

I do all the time unless I know that something is going to be loud
