I went to a psychologist in 2021 who diagnosed me with ADHD, and after the assessment, told me that I was handling it well enough on my own that I didn't need any treatment or medication. Should I go to another psychologist to get a second opinion, or should I be happy with his answer?

I slipped under the radar for the same reason - but once I started medication and learning about ADHD, I realized how much I was actually struggling. I just masked or was able to 'fake it till you make it' I guess. All that is to say, an outsiders perspective on my ability to function didn't capture the internal struggle I was dealing with. The right provider made all the difference in my case. Trust your gut!

It’s always best to get a second opinion if you have doubts, there is nothing wrong with it ❤️
