Hi, I'm looking into different ways to stay content, hopefully happy, and stable. I'd be happy to see what people here have found helps, and to be sympathetic and encouraging if I can be.

Try your utmost to stay in the moment. Seems to me, this the special spiritual message from the gospel reading’s!
also i see you're in your 50s-- i know that menopause in itself can be a trigger of bipolar, and that the menstrual cycle extremely affects your bipolar symptoms in general. I'd suggest getting a gyno who is knowledgeable about bipolar disorder who can maybe prescribe hormones to you depending on where you're at with that stuff, to give you more stability! I'm about to start doing the same based on a friend's recommendation and i can't wait.
i have significantly changed my sleep routine, and stopped drinking alcohol or smoking weed! they've all helped me a lot. i especially didn't realize the effects alcohol had on my mood in between getting drunk-- and i was just a social drinker. also sleep is so important! try to not get too little, but also don't get TOO MUCH!!!
