Long Covid, Post Covid...I'm almost 2 months out and still feeling crappy! I'm seeing a cardiologist next week for what I believe is Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia. Anyone experience heart racing, shortness of breath, and fatigue?

Hi I have had Long Covid for two years now symptoms including tachycardia, fainting, GI issues, nerve damage, chronic sinusitis, anxiety, scalp, heart, and gum inflammation. Just an all over mess! I had to leave my job because of all of this especially the fainting episodes. :( trying out lots of things and just praying that this doesn’t last forever.

no I was not diagnosed with IST. I am not taking any beta blockers. I have tried calm ASAP which it has helped me relax but causes me to have headaches but people have different reactions

😥 I had covid almost a year ago this month and its not fun. I had to do a walk test and my heart rate got up to 158 the second that she had me walk faster. I hate it and fyi be careful because covid can cause you to have blood clots.

@rachelheflin1984 were you diagnosed with IST? Are you taking a beta blocker or any other meds?

I have my 1st appointment w a cardiologist on Wed., I'm a bit nervous. Everything I've read says IST is diagnosed by exclusion so I'm really not looking forward to all of the tests that he's going to want to do. All of my symptoms present as IST. I want to try a beta blocker to see if that helps. I haven't worked out in more than 2 months. All I do all day is sit and rest. I feel like I'm wasting away.

@WeezyGirl yes, just going up the stairs puts my bpm over 125. Ridiculous!

@WeezyGirl What has your experience been? Have you seen a doctor? What has your treatment been?

@Lunita I have been to the ER 4 times, urgent care and I have 8 specialists. No one really knows what to do because it’s so new. I’ve done steroids, inhalers and had endoscopy and also have ultrasound of my heart
