I feel uncomfortable with my therapist. I think the way she helps aren't really helpfull. (I self harmed and was scared to bring it up and her response was word for word "how is that working out for you" ) I feel like I would benefit with someone who could understand my symtoms and could help me understand my bpd. ( I think maybe she is great for some people though, I'm not saying she's bad)How can I ask for a different therapist and how can I do it without making anyone upset.

It's your right to say you want to try a new therapist. I once had one tell me to "suck it up and deal" with my life... I quickly asked for a new therapist. You have to be your own advocate because no one else will
You're not healing. Take your time.

You don't have to say anything to anyone. You don't owe your therapist an explanation at all. Would you talk to a mechanic that did a bad job about why you want to go to a different mechanic? It's a service you pay for, I guarantee she wouldn't show up without that. Finding the right therapist took me 2 years and 5 different therapists. But once you find a good match you'll know it. I also suggest dbt therapy. Good luck in your journey.
Sometimes the therapist just isn't a good fit. I've been seeing therapists for over 20 years. Some just aren't right for you. I agree with the above poster about DBT. It saved my life and helped me to get my thinking in some sorr of order. If you can find a DBT group and/or therapist, you may find relief for bpd.
All you have say thank you all you have done for me I am looking for someone with more knowledge with BPD give me more insight I started taking DBT grouping counseling helps with BPD

You could call your therapist's office and just ask to change therapists. I don't know how long the wait list is for therapists in your area, I would keep that in mind. Your therapist will understand without having any explanation. That's part of their job, it happens more often than you think.
If she's a good therapist, she'll understand. Just tell her basically what you just said here. It's already tactful, it shouldn't be a problem. Maybe ask for someone that specializes in BPD
@StrawberryFields thank you
