This weather has been killing me. I use Diclofenac Gel (Voltaren over the counter) and Magnesium Oil Spray. They help.

I didn't know magnesium came in a spray! That's interesting

yes an oily spray! It’s a great way to get it into your painful areas and if you already take a bunch of pills it’s a nice way to get it without taking another pill! It can sting if you have any little cuts on your hands. It doesn’t bother me but it may bother other people so I like to mention it. I have used a few brands. Some are needlessly expensive! So I got my most recent one from iHerb.com and it’s by Trace Minerals I think. Very affordable! And you get free shipping with just a $20 order!

thank you for the info!!! I will definitely look into them. What about smell? Say if I use it near my head like my shoulders or something, sometimes things smell really strong

just for reference and I don’t know why it’s needed but I heard a doctor say we need to take Vit K with our Vit D. So I bought some and I only take it every two or theee times I take the Vit D. Mainly cuz I haven’t looked into it to see if it’s possible to take too much or if the excess goes out in the urine like Vit C and Bs do. I’m glad you mentioned B Complex cuz I need to get that as well. 🙂

calcium helps with absorption of Vit D, so not sure about K, but we get asked about it all the time at work

On bad days, I apply a magnesium spray to my knees first. Then, after it drys, I apply some of the generic Voltaren. Braces for added support are a godsend on angry knees days. I hope that you feel better soon, these winter storms are brutal to those of us with cranky joints.
