I got an ultrasound on my thyroid and they found 2 nodules both 4.4 cm, one on either lobe of my thyroid. is that considered big? should I be concerned? I ultimately want my thyroid removed and hope that this means I can get it removed, but I'm not sure what the next steps would be until my next appointment, so I'm worried and curious about what the process is? I've been on 50mg propylthiouracil once a day for 3 months with little improvement and now this?
