I'm so tired of feeling like I'm doing something wrong. I mean more than normal, I've struggled with anxiety for a long time but I've always felt supported and understood by my family even though I'm really bad at making friends. But now I'm living away from my family with people who don't understand my anxiety and ADHD and keep telling me that I need to do certian things or should have done certain things and I know that they have this perspective of me that isn't true based on what they expected of me vs how I am. I tried to just stop trying to "prove myself" to them but they started a conversation that basically insinuated that I was the one doing the wrong thing and my problems with them aren't their fault.

People mean well, but unless they've experienced this, they can't relate. I told my friends this, and I said I'm glad you can't because it sucks. Everyone thinks going shopping, grabbing dinner, taking a vacay will make everything better. Like I'm glad it helps them, but that sounds like a nightmare to me. Just remember to be true to yourself. At the end of the day if you ask yourself "did I do my best?" And you can answer yes, then you're doing great. Your best one day might mean you were able to get out of bed and do dishes, but it was your best. You sound like you've got a good head on your shoulders. Keep doing you. ❤️

Totally can relate, it's so hard to find ppl who really support you but when you do it helps so much but when you have the wrong ppl around you not that they're bad ppl or anything they probably just can't understand maybe because they don't have anxiety but anyways back on track when you have the wrong ppl around it can bring you so low and make you feel like you should be like everyone else. Find a good support system. I'm hopefully moving back near my family soon because I've been so down lately severe anxiety and ppd. Hope you can work this out for you. Remember you are doing your best.
