I'm starting to feel like I'll never really understand what's going wrong with my mental health. I have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and adhd, but I've recently noticed that a lot of my behaviors align with ocd. For as long as I can remember I've dealt with moral scrupulosity, horrific intrusive thoughts about hurting myself or others, and compulsively repeating tasks such as organizing, packing/unpacking storage, and picking hair/skin. At this point it feels like too much, like I must be misattributing something. Does anyone have any advice on identifying and attributing symptoms?

mental illnesses are neat in that they're a buy one get seven free sorta deal. OCD is VERY commonly seen in people with anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and/or autism. it's also commonly seen with some neurological disorders. your concerns are absolutely founded and deserve to be followed up on
I've also recently started identifying a lot of the same traits in myself. As everyone else said, your concerns are entirely valid and you should def seek an evaluation, as the symptoms you're describing do align strongly with OCD. It's common to feel like you're missattributing things to something you're not totally sure you have, but OCD does commonly overlap with your prior diagnoses and your suspicion is warranted.

I think ocd concerns are definitely worth getting evaluated by a professional to see if you have it, because it's very hard to manage on your own and can easily become disabling. You can also, if you have the means, go to a psychologist and just ask to get tested for many things that you could have, which they'll help you establish after you talk with them, to find out with more certainty what you have. Also having many issues can be common especially with nuerological disorders.
