      Apparently as a young child I would say “I wanna go home” when I was upset. My mom would say that we ARE home but it didn’t console me. Hmmmm

        @PinkPantalones exactly how I feel sometimes. It's not even really a conscious action for me more like an intrusive thought.

      do you have a safety space? Usually when I feel like that I go to my safety space that I set up in my closet. It has my favorite sensory objects and comfort items so I can feel cozy and safe for a while
