I have been feeling impulsive for the last month. Every day the impulsive feelings become more intense. I havent acted on any, just feeling the intensity. I feel like I can't tell anyone without being judged, hurting someone's feelings, or losing someone's trust. Anyone have suggestions for impulsive release that is healthy?

Well, when I get manic, I try to channel it into housework. Sure, I may rearrange the living room three times in one weekend, but I've spent no money beyond the cleaning supplies. Just... one problem I had that came with this, you may want to be aware. I'd forget to eat and then later when I realized it, I'd be in the middle of a specific task, so I'd tell myself that I'll go eat when I finish it but before I start the next part... but then I'd forget. This cycle would repeat and ultimately I'd spend 2-3 days with very little to eat. So I recommend setting meal alarms and just temporarily abandoning your task when they go off so you can immediately go eat instead of forgetting.

Talking about it with other people who understand can be a big help. Have you tried any online self in help groups? There's tons of support out there. I use heypeers.com (some free meetings, some low cost) and https://supportgroupscentral.com/ (all free, you have to sign up in advance). DBSA meetings are my favorite and lot's of people with borderline and bipolar attend.

Get creative. Learn a new art. Make videos. This usually works for me.

@Ashboo yes and no about trying exercising. I can't seem to stick to a routine.
