Feeling Lonely and Depressed

I got a guinea pig. Loneliness while in recovery is supposed to be a different kind of thing. You're not supposed to get into a relationship for at least a year. It's been just over 3 years. I've found if I can keep myself busy, day by day, it's not so bad, though I'll admit. I don't go out often around valentine's or new years eve. Certain times, I still get lonely, but I've got possum. The manager commented. I think he likes being totally alone, he's like 80. I told him, 2 things. 1. I think everyone needs something to take care of, it gives us a purpose. 2. when you have a pet, you feed it, take care of it, clean up after it. What do they give you in return, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!

You got this I did 18 years in a abusive marriage sure everyone said why didn't I just walk out and I answer because I didnt know I was in one once I did I tryed to leave it had a child to look out for so my point't is that I to was the same way and if I can survive what I went through you can to it passes but never goes away completely so just think of it as alone time for yourself to make you the best you that you can be
