one of my old friends that i was super close to up until about 2 months ago told me i was being overdramatic about this person we know that hates me (for no reason) taking pics of me and sending them to ppl making fun of me. this "friend" told me i was just trying to be a victim and my feelings werent relevant. and ppl wonder why i have trust issues? and wonder why its so hard to make friends now?

dude right i swear everyone has a traumatic experience where their friends were huge bombards of sack to them. expressing something you're upset about and have a right to be upset about and being told you're being dramatic is such bullshit. and they're throwing you under the bus cause they don't want to seem like they're friends with a "snowflake" or something. your feelings matter and being made fun of is definitely something you should be mad about. they're bullies dude, they just try to hide it by saying it's a joke. honestly idk, saying time heals all wounds is cliche but it's true. that and also knowing that having one or two good friends is enough, u don't have to stay with bad people. if u already expressed how you feel and they disregarded it then just cut em out tbh.

I lost friends that I knew for years it’s hard but it does get easier I try to do different things to meet new people I believe that all you need is one very good friend in life I’m still looking but it just takes one person hope this helps

Depending on where you live someone taking photos of you without your consent can be a crime. Not trying to bring anything legal into this but I had a bully who took a photo of me and it got around school quick. It wasn’t inappropriate but I’m sure the guy wrote something to make fun of me. Your “friend” seems to be undermining the situation. I’d also bring an adult into this as well. Make it anonymous if you want to. Even if they seem like harmless photos your bully is actively picking on you. A bully is a bully nothing more or less. Idk if this helps at all.

well that isn’t a “friend” that’s a narcissistic person. or a person who cannot understand the emotions of others

Yeah bullies suck ass. Remember that your feelings are valid even though they'll do your best to convince u that they're the ones who are right. Hope you are feeling better. <3

I'm so sorry that happened to you. That "friend" is very wrong for telling you that you were being over dramatic. And I completely understand about it being hard to trust people and make friends. If you ever want to talk to someone, you can message me 🤗
